Bat 6

Bat 6 is about two schools, Bear Creek Ridge School and Barlow Road School, who have a competion every year. This competition is a softball game played between the sixth grade girls of the schools. The year is 1949, the 50th Anneversery of this tradition. World War I has just ended. On one team there is a girl who hates Japenese and on the other there is a girl with a Japenese heritage. Trouble boils up on the big game!

I rate this book a 5. I thought this book was going to be how practice makes perfect but it ends up being that War Hurts!
