Bright Lights is a program designed for people who never want to stop learning. The program addresses the changing needs of adult patrons for lifelong learning, life planning, and civic engagement. Elisabeth Carter Memoir Writing Workshop

In this introduction to memoir workshop, students learned to understand and trust the writing process, along with some practical methods for tapping memories and life stories. Ever watch Ace of Cakes or The Food Network Challenge and wish that you could do that? Come watch Wilton TM trained cake decorating instructor, Theresa Snow, show you how it's done. Learn how to make roses and other objects with frosting and pastry bags. You may even get to practice what you've learned at the end of the session. Register now!

The Bright Lights program is being funded through the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners with funds from LSTA (Library Services and Technology Act), a Federal source of library funding provided by the Institute of Museum and Library Services. EqualAccess Libraries TM is a professional development program sponsored by Libraries for the Future. The Friends of the Waltham Public Library has also provided some funds for the Bright Lights workshops.
